The Spain highway code requires all passengers in an RV (or car) to fasten their seat belts while the vehicle is moving.
A violation will earn you a fine.
The number of passengers inside a vehicle must not exceed the number of seat belts.
It is therefore prohibited by law to allow children to sleep in a bed in your rental RV while driving at night (or during the day), as they will not be wearing seat belts.
It is also a question of common sense. An accident can happen at any time. Do you really want to run the risk of losing someone you love just because they weren't wearing a seat belt?
Wearing a seat belt is the best protection for all vehicle occupants.
