In Spain, wild camping is forbidden. You can only stop to sleep in motorhome parks and campsites.
Although in essence it is allowed to park wherever you want as long as there are no signs forbidding it, it is better not to play with fire and prefer a legal campsite or parking area. There are specific places where camping in the wild is not a problem, such as in the community of Aragon, under certain conditions.
It is therefore important to plan your motorhome route.
Campsites, rest areas or parking areas
The country is full of beautiful sites for motorhomes, mostly on the coast. Using applications such as iOverlander, Park4night or Caramaps, you will certainly find what you are looking for, whether you want to stop for a few hours or a few days. These applications list numerous campsites, parking areas and many other services!
To make a reservation with the campgrounds, you will need to know the length of your vehicle and the number of people in your group. Be sure to book sites that allow motorhomes.
Prices vary greatly depending on the season, the destination and the number of services offered. Remember to reserve your sites in advance during the summer season. As it is the most popular season, some campsites may be full quickly.
