Before renting an RV in the Portugal, make sure that the primary driver and any additional drivers are old enough for this kind of rental.
The minimum age varies from one renter to the other and is between 21 and 25. Here is the minimum age required by certain renters:
- McRent: 25 years old
- Rent Easy: 21 years old
- Touring Cars: 25 years old
Note that a security deposit is required when you pick up your RV rental in the Portugal. This security deposit will be pre-authorized on the credit card of the primary driver, and is equal to the deductible to be paid in the event of an accident.
When the rental RV has been returned and inspected, the authorization will be cancelled and all confidential information pertaining to it will be deleted.
