Nine years ago I left my desk job and entered the world of entrepreneurship. There have been many ups and downs since that journey started, but one thing has remained the same. I am fascinated with, and love meeting, the friends I have made online. Some of them have become really close friends.
A few months ago, I was surfing around looking for design inspiration when I came across the Viget website. I was drawn to the typography on the site, so I poked a little further under the hood to see what font was being used.
The Geomanist typeface has a contemporary sans design, clean and elegant, with a combination of geometric shapes and humanistic beat.
Geomanist was designed by Atipo®, a small multidisciplinary studio set up by Raúl García del Pomar & Ismael González in 2010 that offers honest and enduring graphic solutions, where the idea takes precedence over aesthetics.
The beautiful Geomanist typeface comes in 18 font styles—from the elegant and delicate Thin weight to the extra strong Ultra weight. Each one, delicious.
Geomanist was designed in 9 font weights, with an italic version of each.
Geomanist can be used for personal and commercial works, and can also be used as a webfont—for your website or web application. The regular font style is completely free to download, and the entire family is available as well.
Geomanist can easily be used to design something special, like this:
Disclaimer: I am not affiliated in any way with Geomanist, the founders of the typeface, or anyone who does their laundry. No money has exchanged hands. I am merely a fan, trying to pay it forward in the design world. Namaste.
