It is also possible to modify your reservation up to 48 working hours before pick-up. Be careful, the price will be updated if you make any changes to your reservation. 

It is unfortunately not possible to cancel or modify your reservation less than 48h before the pick up. 

To rent a car in Spain, you must present a valid driver's license from your home country that obtained at least 12 months ago (up to 24 months ago for some rental companies in the Canary and Balearic Islands), your passport and your credit card.

If you do not have a European or a European Economic Area (Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway) driver's license, you will require an international driver's license. Watch out! The international license does not replace your original driver’s license, it only complements it. You must have both documents with you at all times.

In Europe, the majority of rental vehicles are equipped with a manual transmission and those with an automatic transmission are generally more expensive.

In Spain, an child seat is required for children who are shorter than 135cm or are less than 12 years old. It is even recommended for children up to 150cm. 

If your seat meets these standards, bring it with you! It's free to bring with most airlines and your child will be comfortable and feeling right at home.

Otherwise, you will have to consider renting a child seat with your vehicle. This option will be payable in advance or at the counter, depending on the rental companies.
